CONTOH PIDATO BAHASA INGGRIS (ENGLISH SPEECH)

Honorable, excellency juries and all my brothers in my honor.

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

Good morning everybody

In the name of Allah lord of the word, the creater of everything in universe to worship him alone.

Salutation be upen our prophet Muhammad SAW, who has saved human life from the darkness to the lightness.

And I don’t forget to thanks to dear chairman for giving me a chance in this speech contest.

I should like to deliver my speech in front of audience, by the title.

GLOBAL WARMING IS GLOBAL WARNING

Ladies and Gentlemen

            In the twenty first century, nowadays the ‘Global Warming’ is not strange anymore. Global warming is increase of temperature on the earth. This problem already become the hot topic at the some seminar, discussion, essay, thesis and so on.

            Global warming is happen because carbondioxide, CFC, metana, etc. Carbondioxide was produced from burning process increase carbondioxide degree at atmosphere. As effect, gas and ozone destroyer crawl the earth. Carbondioxide content increasing because there are a lot of forest has felled, so it can not pervade the carbondioxide. Ultraviolet which enter to the earth can not bounced back to the atmosphere, because gas and ozone destroyer mentioned. It is impact, temperature of earth increasingly up or it happen global warming. This is that called green house effect.

Ladies and Gentlemen

            Global warming is the world problem. Especially in our country, we often witness on newspaper, broadcasting and daily television news. Which our country sustained many impact of global warming. That is all will make be effect about all of human activities in the effort to life. For example, now the climate has not stabilized, sometime be good weather but also suddenly be foul weather.

            Beside that, green house gases stay, can stay in the atmosphere for an amount of years ranging from decades to hundreds and thousands of years. No matter what we do, global warming is going to have some effect on earth. Here are the five deadliest effects of global warming,

1.    Spread of disease. As northern countries warm, disease carrying insects migrate north, bringing plague and disease with them. Indeed some scientists believe that in some countries thanks to global warming, malaria has not been fully eradicated.

2.    Warmer waters and more hurricanes. As the temperature of oceans rises, so will the probability of more frequent and stronger hurricanes. We saw in this in 2004 and 2005.

3.     Increased probability and intensity of droughts and heat waves. Although some areas of earth will become wetter due to global warming, other areas will suffer serious droughts and heat waves. Africa will receive the worst of it, with more severe droughts also expected in Europe. Water is already a dangerously rare commodity in Africa, and according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, global warming will exacerbate the conditions and could lead to conflicts and war.

4.    Economic consequences most of the effects of anthropogenic global warming won’t be good. And these effects spell one thing for the countries of the world, economic consequences. Hurricanes  cause do billions of dollars in damage, diseases cost money to treat and control and conflicts exacerbate all of these.

5.    Polar ice caps melting. The ice caps melting is a four-pronged danger. First, it will raise sea levels. There are 5,7773,000 cubic miles of water in ice caps, glaciers, and permanent snow. According to the National Snow and Ice Data Center, if all glaciers melted today the seas would rise about 230 feet. Luckily, that’s not going to happen all in one go! But sea levels will rise. Second, temperature rises and changing landscapes in the artic circle will endanger several species of animals. Only the most adaptable will survive. Third, global warming could snowball with the ice caps gone. Ice capes are white, and reflect sunlight, much of which is relected back into space, further cooling earth. If the ice caps melt, the only reflector is the ocean. Darker colors absorb sunlight, further warming the earth.

Now, we must look these all not only as global warming but also global warning. And, we can not underestimate about this problem.

Ladies and Gentlemen

            So, who has to responsible of these all? Would you like bequeath the hot earth to our grandchild? The simple answer are ‘NOT’, because that will be concerning. Now, we have to assembling the alternatives from the all community. After that, our government only facilitator of those alternatives. So, we can decrease the global warming.

            Now, how to solved this problem?, there are many alternatives that can be used. One of them is ‘Go Green’. Go green is more effective then the other alternatives. So, I will give some alternatives about go green.

            The first, we must do reforestation. Plant can pervade the carbondioxide, so automatically we can decrease carbondioxide. And we all know that carbondioxide is one of ozone destroyer.

            The second is, cultivate the green algae. This alternatives more practical then reforestation, because it need not a lot of time to wait. It is mean this alternatives is efficient of time

            The third, we must change our lifestyle. Now we must try to become vegetarian. Here to, we can decrease the prospect of animal husbandry. Because, all this time animal husbandry offer metana as contribution, and we know that metana can damages the ozone.

            And the last is, make biogas as substitute of LPG and oil. Beside that, it can produce electricity at the same time. Biogas exploit metana from the result of analyse microorganism. The other than metana, microorganism mentioned also produce nitrogen, phosphor, potassium, magnesium and so on. So, the other than it’s gas, those element NPK also can use as manure after the gas gone.

Ladies and Gentlemen

            From my speech above, my conclusion is, Jhon F Kenedy as past president of America said “don’t ask what your country can give you, but ask what can you give to your country”. I hope this the one of many motivations which should grow the consciousness of each one and more influence to overcome and fight the global warming.
